Me Made May 2017! Week 4: The Final Countdown
Oh daaaannnng! Look at me freaking go guys.
Week 4 was a bit more difficult than the most. I was travelling for 6 of 7 of these days and trying not to make my outfits total repeats of what you have seen before. Also, remembering to take photos is legitimately hard (#firstworldproblems). However, I think we got some good ‘back of the closet’ clothes out (which is the purpose of this whole dang exercise, am I right?).
I’ll have the final three days and a postmortem of the whole experience at the end of this week, but for now REVEL IN MY BEAUTIFUL CLOTHES.
This shirt/post was a commemoration of the one year anniversary of my Lemonade experience. It was also the one year anniversary of making this self-drafted tank top. Finally, it was also the one year anniversary of me saying ‘hey, I should blog about that self-drafted tank top I made’. #life
This shirt is probably the shadiest hacks I have ever done, all of it explained in this blog post. However, I do still love this shirt forever and ever. This is a Made By Rae Beatrix top with a hacked peter pan collar in Retro Rocket Rascals quilting cotton by Michael Miller Fabrics.
OOOOH! Secrets. I have yet to take photos or write a blog post about this make, but I did rock it a lot this week because I am O!B!S!E!S!S!E!D! with it. Pattern is the Yona Wrap Coat by Named Patterns and it is legit fire emoji realness.
CAN YOU GUESS WHICH DRESS I MADE? jk jk jk. Graduation day with this dream-girl in a Vintage Vogue V8811 dress in Birch Floral (Navy) Rayon from the Les Fleurs collection by Rifle Paper Co. and Cotton + Steel.
#TFW you wear the same fabric back to back. This outfit may just become a staple for me cause it was way too comfortable for how cute it looked. Made by Rae Luna Pants (again) in Cotton + Steel rayon from the Les Fleurs collection and a Charlotte Khan Pocket Tee, shortened (and blogged about here) in a black linen.
Ugh, can you even deal with how amazing this girl is? Standing with my bestie in a refashioned linen skirt, blogged about here.
WAH! Look at how cute all of my friends are. I am rocking a Sewaholic Salt Spring dress (actual outfit pick from last year’s me made may). Actually, I was truly inspired to wear this outfit by looking through my posts from last May. The internet is real guys.
Three more days left!
Tell it to me straight, followers, are you enjoying yourself?
(just kidding, please lie to me and tell me that you are. I cannot handle the truth)
