Natasha Presents: You Should Buy (me) this!

Being a blogger means you need to remember to take photographs of things you want to blog about, who would have thought?!

My weekly post is a bit delayed due to my laziness in said photo taking, so I will do a little schedule switcheroo and hit up your eyeballs with something different for today. Karen from Did You Make That? recently blogged about her stripped Molly dress with a sweater knit and I am dead. The fall weather is getting a little more crisp in Vancouver, so any mention an oh so comfy knit dress and yaaasss mama wants.

The pattern, as well as 4 other gorgeous patterns, are from Sew Over It‘s new book:
My Capsule Wardrobe: City Break. The PDF book includes 5 patterns that range from super easy to a bit trixy, including: the Erin skirt, Molly dress and top, Alex shirt and dress, Mia jeans, and the Lola coat.

Don’t all of these garments look gorgeous? And all for $35CAD.
sewI took this picture from their website, so I hope they ain’t mad; but go by yourself this ebook right now! And while you’re at it, buy me one too please k thnx?!

I bought this book and it’s great. I just finished the knit top (the Molly) this afternoon and I love it!

I saw this too. I love the concept of this mix and match capsule wardrobe and the style is perfect for my maternity leave life. I was tempted to buy bit tought I might be able to go through patterns I already own and come up with something similar. Maybe the coco dress, hemlock tee, alder shirt dress, ginger jeans, beinet skirt…not sure on the coat. Still sometimes it’s nice to try new patterns and this is a great price. Are you going to get it?

It is on my to-buy list for sure, but I have made a promise to myself to use up all of my other patterns (and fabric) before buying anything new. And that dang promise is killllling me!
