JUST KIDDING I HAVE FRIENDS.
Right…? Friends?

Welcome to the very first installment of my hopefully never-ending series on Confident Beginner. It is called:

First things first: glittery animated font. Are you not DYING right now?! The internet is a truly majestic beast. Anyways…

If you haven’t noticed by now, I love sewing. I may not be the best at it but I just can’t quit you, sewing machine. We are in-love, but from time to time, it can be a very singular relationship. As in, “I will singularly stay here inside on a warm sunny day while everyone outside enjoys hanging out with other people”. In an attempt to not end up like a crazy introverted troll woman in my troll cave, I am propositioning others to join me in said cave (and by cave, I do mean converted dining room-to-craft area). We can sit, sew, gossip, drink drinks, eat eats, and share all of our most hilarious sewing stories. And, if I am lucky, I will learn from your wisdom and you can learn from my mistakes! It’s true symbiotic relationship. Or is that a parasitic relationship? Oh god, I don’t even know. I WENT TO SCHOOL FOR ART NOT SCHOOL FOR SCIENCE.

For my inaugural hot and sexy sewing sesh, I invited one of my best friends and forever sewing buddy, Shauna, to come sit in the hot seat! And yes, it is a literal hot seat, as the iron is right behind her. READY! SET! SEW!

Now, being that this is my very first Come Sew With Me!™,  I just have a few photos of us in my very non-decorated sewing area. However, there are a few things that I would love to change before the NEXT INSTALLMENT:
1. Let’s put a shelf on that wall. A nice shelf. A shelf I may have been working on for the past 3 god damn weeks.
2. Let’s organize things up a bit and make Pinterest jealous of me!
3. Let’s get a video camera up in this bitttcccchhhhhhh and GET! THAT! YOUTUBE! MONAAAYYYYYYYYY! OOH OOOOOHHH SHMONEY BAYBAYYYY!

So, yeah, exciting times fellow readers! If you are my friend and want to sew with me, please hit me up! Maybe (and/or eventually) when I am Youtube famous, I will start sewing with people I don’t know (but are definitely NOT murderers). THE NON-MURDERER PART IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME.
